Scandinavia is the region in northern Europe that includes the Scandinavian Peninsula and its surrounding countries. The countries of Norway and Sweden are the only two countries located on the Scandinavian Peninsula. Denmark, Finland, and Iceland are included as part of Scandinavia because of common cultural links between them.
