SLOVENIA is a small republic that, before 1991, was part of the former Yugoslavia. It is a mountainous country, bounded by Croatia in the southwest, Hungary in the east, Austria in the north, and Italy. Slovenia also has a short stretch of coastline (45 kilometers or 28 miles) bordering the Adriatic Sea, where Koper’s port is is located.

SRI LANKA is an island republic lying in the Indian Ocean just off India’s southeastern tip, from which separated by the Palk Strait.
Until 1948, when it achieved independence, it was under British rule and called Ceylon. The shallow Palk Strait is interrupted by a chain of reefs and islands known as Adam’s Bridge, which almost links the two coasts. The island is dominated by a central, southern mass of hills and mountains (rising to a maximum height of 2,524 meters or 8,281 feet), surrounded by lower coastal plains.
ST HELENA is a volcanic island in the south Atlantic Ocean. It is a British overseas territory and an administrative center for the islands of Tristan da Cunha to the south and Ascension Island to the north. The main exports are fish, timber, and handicrafts.
ST KITTS AND NEVIS lie in the Leeward Islands in the eastern Caribbean Sea. In 1983, St Christopher (popularly known as St Kitts) and Nevis became a sovereign democratic federal state with the British monarch as head of state.
ST LUCIA is one of the Windward Islands in the eastern Caribbean. It lies to the south of Martinique and the north of St Vincent. It was controlled alternately by the French and the British for some 200 years before becoming fully independent in 1979. St Lucia is an island of extinct volcanoes, and the highest peak is 950 meters or 3,117 feet.
