HONG KONG is a Special Autonomous Province of China. It is located in the South China Sea and consists of Hong Kong Island (once a barren rock), the peninsula of Kowloon, and about 1,000 square kilometers or 386 square miles of adjacent land known as the New Territories.
Hong Kong situated at the mouth of the Pearl River about 130 kilometers or 81 miles southeast of Guangzhou (Canton).
HONDURAS is a fan-shaped country in Central America that spreads out toward the Caribbean Sea at the Gulf of Honduras.

GUYANA, the only English-speaking country in South America, is situated on the northeast coast of the continent on the Atlantic Ocean. Guyana was formerly called British Guiana, but it achieved its independence in 1966. Before becoming a Crown colony, it was largely under the control of the Dutch West India Company.
The Dutch were responsible for beginning an extensive land reclamation program along the coast, and, to this day, there is a narrow belt of fertile land with rich alluvial soils, protected from the sea by dikes and dams.
GUINEA-BISSAU, formerly a Portuguese territory but granted independence in 1974, is located south of Senegal on the Atlantic coast of West Africa. The republic’s territory includes over 60 coastal islands, including the archipelago of Bijagós.
It is a stunning country with a deeply indented and island-fringed coastline and a low, marshy plain, rising slightly to a plateau and hills on the border with neighboring Guinea. Mangrove swamps and tropical jungles cover the land near the coast, giving way to savannah-type grassland on the plateau.
GUINEA, formerly a French west African territory, is located at the “bulge” in Africa’s coastline. It is a lush, green, beautiful country about the same size as the United Kingdom. The Republic of Guinea is a country of varied topography crossed by many rivers, including the upper reaches of Senegal, Gambia, and Niger. Its principal rivers are the Gambia and the Bating. The coastal plain is about 50 kilometers or 30 miles wide before the land rises inland to form the central massif of the Fouta Djallon
Highlands, a sandstone plateau dissected by deep valleys. The Guinea Highlands occupies the south of the country, and between the two upland areas lies an area of the Sahel savannah grasslands extending northeastwards into Mali.
GUATEMALA is situated between the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, where North America meets Central America. It is a mountainous country with a ridge of volcanoes running parallel to the Pacific coast.
Three of the volcanoes are still active, and the country is also subject to earthquakes. In the northwest, there is a large, low-lying forested area called El Peten, which is located many archaeological remains of the Maya civilization.
GUADELOUPE consists of a small group of islands in the Caribbean lying in the middle of the Lesser Antilles islands, with some islands in the Leeward Islands and some in the Windward Islands.
